  9. Note: This upgrade will not work on any other Pace modem models.

  13. You should be aware that there is an extremely slim chance that this
  14. upgrader could fail, resulting in "dead" Solo modem :-(  Normally, should
  15. this occur, Pace would repair/replace the defective unit for free, under
  16. warranty. However, since PMC Electronics have gone bankrupt, this is no
  17. longer the case - you will not be able to get your Solo repaired.
  18. Therefore, any use of this upgrader will be at your own risk - I (Oliver
  19. Roberts) cannot be held responsible for any damage to your Solo modem.
  20. FYI, the same risk applies to the PC version of the upgrader.
